About Leigh Ann and Michelle

About Leigh Ann Wells

In 1999 I lost my best friend. It felt like the end, but it was just the beginning. It would take five years of grieving and trying to understand what was happening before I made an appointment with Mary Jo McCabe in 2004. She confirmed for me that I was in fact connected to other side and the things I had been “seeing” were real. This put me on a path to understand my gift, accept that it was from God, and realize it was to help others heal. It would take nine years before I fully understood what I would do with it.

In 2013 I began giving messages from loved ones who had passed. I only communicate with those soul’s that walk in God’s white light by His will, not my own. Each and everyone of us, has a very important role to play in this life, and this was is the one that was chosen for me. My gift is a part of who I am. It also serves as the driving force of my art. My paintings are a reflection of a world that many do not see, as well as a catalyst of my own thoughts, feelings, and emotions.

In 2018 I would move into Studio MB with my dear friend and owner, Michelle Blazier. Michelle had been a huge part of my journey early on and remains to be so. I am truly grateful for her support and generosity. We soon decided it would also be a great time to start our podcast, Spiritual Highways, to share lessons that can be learned from Spirit that can apply to anyone.

In January of 2022, Spirit guided me to take yet another leap of faith; by moving Abstract-Soul into the building next door! The new office has provided me with the additional space needed to teach classes, host small group readings, and a gallery for my art. The best part is that I can look out my window and see Michelle!

I never know what Spirit will have me do next, but one thing is for sure. When Spirit says jump; my only question is… How high? I am beyond grateful and humbled by the abundance of blessings that God has placed into my life and for the ability to serve others in His holy name.

About Michelle Blazier

In 2000 Michelle Blazier began her intuitive journey as an editor with Mary Jo McCabe on several books. After Mary Jo moved out of state, Michelle returned to the beauty industry in management as Salon Manager for Rigsby Frederick Salon, and was then named Director of The Aveda Institute.

Realizing her true passion was working behind the chair, Michelle transitioned to becoming a stylist. She spent 10 years at Feeney Ledoux Salon honing her "Hairapist" skills before opening her own salon, Studio MB, in Denham Springs, LA.

This new venture provided the opportunity for Michelle to discover a path back to her intuitive journey by making Studio MB a home for Leigh Ann Wells Spence, a spiritual medium. Together, Leigh Ann and Michelle produce a weekly half-hour podcast, Spiritual Highways, that explores the spiritual connection we all share and how we can use these spiritual messages to understand and improve our lives.
